While I'm at it

As long as I'm posting I may as well post a couple other goodies.

Robert and I. California nights are colder than I remember.

My friend Johnnie had a white trash themed party in Nov. The horse durvies were very intriguing. Adam and I thought that even if we didn't look classy, they would. Clearly a success.

Banksy. Banksy is le famous. I know graffiti is a bad thing 99 times out of a hundred. I think it would be safe to say that Banksy is more an urban artist than a criminal though. Check out these links: Click me!!!! and OOH, OH mee too!!!!. The second link talks about how a banksy piece similar to the one on the building that says "no more heroes" and depicts a super hero with a paint brush, sold for 407,000 dollars. The first is a link to a bunch of Banksy's outdoor work. Check it out.

It's been a minute

Sorry for not posting for a while everyone. I have a bunch of pictures that I've wanted to post but haven't had time to yet with the new semester and all. Before that though. I have to say I'm sad that Heath Ledger died. He was a really promising actor. In other news, how about Ron Paul taking second in NV? I love that the media hasn't even talked about it. I am not a Ron Paul fanboy but, the guy has beat Rudi in almost every primary thus far (I can't think of one where he hasn't, but I hate speaking in absolutes when I'm not sure) and yet still gets very little media attention. Now that the markets are completely tanking, and the dollar is losing worth by the day, maybe his message will catch on.

Enough about that. How about some pictures. I got an iPhone just before Christmas and some of the pictures are from the phone and not the camera. I'm surprised how hard it is to tell which is which though. The first picture above is one of my favorites. For some reason my sister and mom weren't fond of the picture but I think it's really cute in a quirky kind of way. Maybe its because women don't want children to be seen as quirky?

This is one of my favorite pictures taken over the holidays. While we were up at Lake Arrowhead my Mom said; "hey, come take some pictures of Joy and me". In two minutes I ended up snapping 70 photos of Mom making cutesy noises and Joy being enthralled with the ornaments on the Christmas tree. Both expressions are priceless.

I was the last to wake up on Christmas morning. I was clearly glad to be there. I maintain that I was still recovering from finals. I love hoodies.

This is the Fam outside of Lucille's - a favorite for birthday dinners for the fam. Everyone was nice enough to acquiesce Heather's request to have her and Phillip's birthday dinner early so I could be there. The second picture is after Robbie got there. We made a pact to not wear tops with color. White, Black, and things in between ONLY!

I call this one "Why You NEVER Make an Ugly Face In Front of the Camera of a Blogger". I have to admit my mom is an innocent victim here, I'm not sure her yawn was intentional. It sure adds to the the photo yes?

One word describes these photos: FIERCE! Fierce back ground, fierce facial expressions, fierce outfits. Fieeeerce. Maybe it's because my mom was standing outside the truck saying "NOW SHOW ME FIERCE, BOYS". And fierce she was shown. My Mom didn't really take them, I hung my arm out the window and snapped the pictures. The only question now is which is more fiercer? I'll let you decide.

This is a very large bug. A very large bug we found while my dad and brother in law were out... shooting. I know right? Dad called it a potato bug. They're really cool looking, in that disgustingly over sized ant kind of way.

I call this "If its public, it's public". I hate PDA more than most things in life. I hate only neocons, and genocide more, but just barely. I mean really, get over it. At least they both look gross with their eyes half open.

When I got home from the break I decided it was time for a major clean up of the apartment (notice my roommate in the background). There was a sweater that had been laying on top of our washing machine as long as I can remember. I picked it up and noticed how small it was. It either belonged to some girl who left it there or to some former tenant that never got the memo on not machine washing wool. I post this for two reasons. 1. So you can see my awesome beard. 2. Its me in a shrunken sweater, what more could you ask for?

So these are my Christmas pictures. I have a couple more, not sure if I'll post them or not. My goal is to get straight A's my final semester, and a detailed blog is not moving me towards that goal. Oh well. I hope you all enjoy it.
