Washington DC

I went to Washington DC last weekend in the most recent installment of the saga of Andrew Tries to Get Job at World Bank. I met with some contacts that I had made in hopes of making additional contacts which will help me get a job with the bank. My meetings went really well and I'm just trying to follow up with the people whom I met and get this show on the road. Here are a couple pictures I took while I was there.

This is a picture I took with my iPhone of Sherry L. Due. She's a big Mormon celebrity. I think I have the shirt she's wearing. Maybe not. From what I can gather, she was en route to a large LDS women's conference in FL(and by that I mean that there were a lot of women there, not that it was an event for large women - just FYI).

This is a picture of the entrance to Chinatown in DC. I had every intention of taking my camera around with me but somehow neglected to do it. I snapped this in the back of a cab with my phone. Not too bad for an image shot at 40 MPH with something that fits in my pocket, downloads email, surfs the internet and holds most of my music.(post script... turns out we weren't going forty. Otherwise those pedestrians would be in serious trouble. HAHA.)

I saw this very L33T piece at the portrait gallery. I looked at it for thirty seconds before I realized that it made anything intelligible. There are so many amazing museums in DC. I had a blast and will hopefully soon have a great job as a result also. In closing I was amused by this video on youtube today I hope you all like it too.
